Real butterfly wing earrings with striking red and black patterning, and jaw dropping iridescence in a full spectrum of colors. Made from carefully preserved real Heliconius hybrid butterfly wings. An elegant earring with long graceful lines. Get them in full light, and their prismatic effects are absolutely dazzling. Hypoallergenic surgical steel ear posts. Ultra light weight.

The wings have been preserved through an intricate process leaving them waterproof and similar in wear and care to eyeglass lenses, while retaining the delicate edges through meticulous artist skill.

A durable metal for daily wear comprised primarily of iron mixed with chromium (13-30%), nickel to reduce brittleness, and molybdenum to increase corrosion resistance.
