Real butterfly wing necklace. A petite and minimalist jewelry piece in neutral gold tones, and spicy natural leopard print. Made from carefully preserved real Spotted Leopard butterfly wing (Phalanta phalanta). This conservation informed artist made necklace is conversation ready. Gold on brass cable chain. 14/20 gold spring ring clasp. 17" necklace length.
The wing has been preserved through an intricate process leaving it waterproof and similar in wear and care to eyeglass lenses, while retaining the delicate edges through meticulous artist skill.
All wings are ethically sourced from and for conservation.
