Jewelry-grade Bio-epoxy

A highly specialized, sustainable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based resins. Formulated with plant-based, bio-derived and waste-stream materials, it contains more than 30% renewable content. Material sources include soy, pine, or cashew nut shell liquids. Jewelry-grade bio-epoxy offers high clarity, low toxicity, and excellent durability, making it a preferred choice for crafting sustainable heritage quality art, while reducing reliance on petroleum-based products. VOC free. Crystal-clear finish with a high-gloss, glass-like sheen. Superior non-yellowing (UV resistant) properties, tensile strength, adhesive properties, and impact resistance, compared to traditional petroleum-based epoxies. Includes HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers) to prevent yellowing. Waterproof.

Bio-epoxy is seen as a preservation and amplification binder for the properties of the natural elements it's bonded to. It acts as a 'lock' holding these energies steady, while preserving and grounding them.

Gold

A valuable dense, soft metal widely used for its conductivity, resistance to corrosion, unique physical properties and beauty. Gold is the most malleable and ductile metal, meaning it can be tamped extremely thin to the point of semi-transparent or drawn into long fine wires. With a similar density to tungsten, it is known for its heaviness for the size. While pure gold is too soft for most applications without an alloy for strength, which changes the color of the reddish-gold material accordingly: white (nickel/palladium), rose (copper), green (silver), or blue/purple (iron/aluminum).

An 'illuminating' metal associated with prosperity, wealth and high energy. Brings stability, happiness and purification to the wearer. Associated with the heart, promoting love and compassion. Gold is linked to the Sun in many traditions, highlighting vitality and consciousness.

Brass

A distinctive metal with a bright luster, and high corrosion resistance, especially against air and water. Brass is a natural germicidal metal that can eliminate bacteria, viruses and micro-organisms on contact. Malleable enough to form and machine easily, yet sturdy enough to hold its shape well.
Brass may leave a green or blue stain on the skin due to its reaction with sweat, which is non-toxic and easily washed off.
Brass colors range from deep red (high copper) to bright gold (standard mix) and silvery-white (high zinc/nickel). Colors are controlled by adjusting the copper-zinc ratio, and adding elements to change hue, strength and corrosion resistance.
Red Brass (Reddish-Gold): Contains roughly 85% or more copper and less than 15% zinc.
Yellow Brass (Golden-Yellow): Contains approximately 60-70% copper and 30-40% zinc.
White Brass (Silvery-White): Contains higher amounts of zinc or added nickel.
Antique Brass (Dark Brown/Black): Achieved through chemical treatment (patination) or natural aging.

A conduit for positive energy that has the ability to clear the path for courage, growth and the stimulation of personal truth. Brass is often used to attract wealth and prosperity, and in rituals to ward off negative energy. It is believed to boost the immune system.

Peridot

Known as the 'evening emerald' and as the 'gem of the sun' due to its unique color. This vibrant olive-to-lime-green is derived from peridots orthorhombic crystal system, as well as its chemical composition (iron and magnesium) rather than its impurities, like many gems. This idiochromatic olivine-gemstone is sometimes found in pallasite meteorites, though more commonly in volcanic basalt rocks. It has a relatively dense specific gravity of 3.27-4.37.

Known as the 'stone of compassion, warmth and healing' it is often used for protection from nightmares and negative energies. Peridot is often associated with positive energy, emotional balance and prosperity.

Topaz

A silicate mineral and precious gemstone sought for its impressive hardness, brilliance and wide range of colors, though predominantly recognized for blue, yellow and white. Despite its hardness, topaz requires special care due to its perfect basal cleavage. This means it can split easily across planes if struck sharply. Topaz is an aluminum silicate fluoride hydroxide crystal belonging to the orthorhombic crystal system.

Considered a stone of love success and manifestation, topaz is often used in meditation. Known to enhance intuition, act as a shield against negativity, foster emotional balance, and foster chakra alignment.

Color Specific Chakra Alignment:
Blue Topaz: Throat and Third Eye Chakras (enhances communication and inner wisdom).
Yellow/Imperial Topaz: Solar Plexus and Sacral Chakras (boosts confidence, personal power, and motivation).
White Topaz: Crown Chakra (supports mental clarity and spiritual awareness).

Surgical Steel

A durable metal for daily wear comprised primarily of iron mixed with chromium (13-30%), nickel to reduce brittleness, and molybdenum to increase corrosion resistance. The chromium oxide outer layer is self-healing, and repairs itself if scratched, preventing long-term corrosion. Depending on the grade and treatment, it can be slightly magnetic.
Surgical steel can come in a wide variety of colors. Some colors are formed by heat oxidization (blue/purple), while others are formed by other hypoallergenic metal deposits as a vapor coating (physical vapor deposition), and still others are created from immersion in a chemical bath forming an oxide layer. These processes ensure the pigment Is integrated into the surface, not merely painted on.

As a 'self-healing' metal, surgical steel is associated with protection, healing and grounding. Viewed as a symbol of resilience, endurance and ability to recover. In many metaphysical traditions it is considered an energy shield, suitable for keeping one's energy field and aura intact, especially during difficult times.
