Real dragonfly wing necklace. Asymmetrical contemporary design. A lovely juxtaposition between geometric faceted gold sheen obsidian, and the organic outline and marvelously chaotic delicate black veining of the dragonfly wing. Made from carefully preserved Green Darner dragonflies (Anax Junius). 18K gold on steel paperclip chain with lobster claw clasp. 20" necklace length, plus 2" extension.
The wings have been preserved through an intricate process leaving them waterproof and similar in wear and care to eyeglass lenses, while retaining the delicate edges through meticulous artist skill.
All wings are ethically sourced from and for conservation.
