A statement necklace that embodies patience, flight and taking up space, with timeless style. All of the elements of this necklace are more substantial, from the thick chain to the big boy cicada. Gorgeous depth and green-gold sparkle exude from the gold sheen obsidian, a grounding and protective stone that helps with clarity, empowerment and releasing negativity.

The 18K gold on steel paperclip chain brings this necklace to 21" standard length, with a 2" extension allowing up to 23". The open paperclip chain could easily be clasped to shorter lengths, as well. A versatile piece that works for varying body types and necklines.

The wings have been preserved through an intricate process leaving them waterproof and similar in wear and care to eyeglass lenses, while retaining the delicate edges through meticulous artist skill.

All wings are ethically sourced from and for conservation.
