Real butterfly wing earring with iconic shapes, and a larger size. A gorgeous blend of subtle golden greens is in striking contrast to crisp lines and scallops in basic black. The rose gold locking ear wires add contrast accent color, and practicality for these super lightweight large sized earrings. Made from carefully preserved real Green Apple (Papilio phorcas) butterfly wings. A nature promoting artisan earring. Get them in full light, and their prismatic effects are absolutely dazzling. 14/20 rose gold, which is 20% 14K rose gold annealed over 80% sterling silver. Ultra light weight.

The wings have been preserved through an intricate process leaving them waterproof and similar in wear and care to eyeglass lenses, while retaining the delicate edges through meticulous artist skill.
