Real Common Rose Butterfly Wing (Pachliopta aristolochiae) Suncatcher Window Hanging
A real Common Rose butterfly wing (Pahliopta aristolochiae) is preserved and strung with handmade Czechoslovakian glass beads, onyx, coral, agate, wire and waxed Irish linen to hang. Ready to grace any window. Easy to attach and remove with a loop on the opposite end to string through. This is a rare butterfly, and it isn’t often you’ll find one of its wings here. It’s amazing the difference lighting makes in what this wing looks like! Catch a sunbeam and see real rainbows appear. Get it in darker lighting and the patterning nearly disappears. A window is the perfect spot for this wing! None of the pictures have filters. You will receive the exact piece pictured.
Specimens are ethically sourced, helping to fund efforts in butterfly repopulation and land conservation. See our FAQ page to learn more about our process, where we get our wings, why we care about pollinator conservation, and how you can help!
